AudioCut Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 18, 2025

AudioCut is a waveform audio editor for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The app is designed to work entirely offline. We do not operate backend servers for account registration, cloud storage, or analytics tied to your identity. This statement describes the limited data we handle so you know exactly what stays on your device.

What We Do Not Collect

Data Stored Locally

AudioCut keeps temporary clip drafts, zoom levels, selection ranges, and export presets only inside your device’s sandbox. Removing drafts in the app or uninstalling AudioCut deletes this information instantly. We never access files outside the permissions you grant via the Files app or Voice Memos.

Imports and Exports

When you import audio from the Files app, Voice Memos, AirDrop, or other sources, AudioCut reads the file strictly to render the waveform and edit it locally. When you export or share, the system Share Sheet (iOS/iPadOS/macOS) delivers the file directly to the destination you choose; we do not intercept or store it anywhere else.

Diagnostics

AudioCut does not include third-party analytics. If you opted in to Apple’s optional diagnostics, Apple may send anonymized crash logs that contain stack traces but never your audio. We review those logs only to fix bugs. You can disable diagnostics in iOS/iPadOS/macOS settings at any time.
